The rail service is unique for intermodal customers as it:

• Avoids any delays with short sea shipping providing users a reliable Day A to Day B rail connection.
  
• Duisburg is the central logistics hub for the industrial heartland of Europe, allowing access to markets in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, as well as markets in Middle and Eastern European countries and Russia.
  
• The train service is daily, operating Tuesdays to Saturdays.
  
• Services are fast, safe, secure and reliable, whilst emitting lower CO2 emissions than road haulage.
  
• Ability to convey any type of container, swap bodies or tank container up to 9.6 ft height, 2.55 width and 36tonne gross weight per unit.
