| Keith
Heller, EWS Chief Executive |
| Keith is an experienced
railway professional with over 37 years of
experience in all aspects of railway management.
He is a determined, results-orientated team
leader who drives through change through innovative
workplace approached, sound financial leadership
strong employee management relations and quality
processes and principles. |
| Keith joined EWS
from Canadian National Railway, in January
2003 and aims to make EWS the leading rail
freight operator in Europe. |
| At Canadian National
Railway, Keith held the positions of Senior
Vice-President Eastern Canada Division, Senior
Vice-President Line Operations, Senior Vice-President
Eastern Canada and Vice President Transportation. |

| Graham
Smith, Planning Director |
| Graham Smith joined
the railway industry in 1978 as a management
trainee. |
| During 1993 he
played a leading role in the restructuring
of British Rail's freight business for privatisation
and in 1994 was appointed Planning Manager
for Mainline Freight, one of the units created
for sale. In 1996, following privatisation,
Graham was appointed Planning Director for
EWS. |
| Besides strategic
and business planning, Graham's responsibilities
include the strategic and contractual relationship
with Network Rail, EWS's relationship with
the Rail Regulator, the Strategic Rail Authority
and Department for Transport. |
| Graham is a member
of the CBI's Transport Policy Committee, a
member of the Freight Transport Association's
Council as well as its Rail Council, and a
director of the Rail Freight Group. |
