All tenderers will be given the opportunity to undertake inspection of these vehicles at Old Oak Common. (By appointment only).
These vehicles shall be disposed of in a manner which is fair and which complies with safety and environmental considerations.
The contract of sales shall be awarded to the bidder(s) whose offer generates the best return for DB Schenker. DB Schenker however, reserves the right to accept or reject any offers made. In addition speed of sale, site clearance and payment terms may also be taken into account. DB Schenker also reserves the right to withdraw any / all of these vehicles from sale at any time.

Closing date for registration of interest is Monday 23rd February, 2009 by 1000hrs.
Each prospective purchaser is, however, reminded of the possibility of asbestos content in this vehicle which would be woven form white asbestos lagging around water / steam pipes or behind heaters. Any successful purchaser must ensure that any work carried out on this vehicle which may disturb the asbestos containing materials must be undertaken in compliance with the methods and procedures required by current legislation. In respect of any onward sale of transfer of this vehicle, this information must be passed on to the recipient(s) of the vehicle. Additionally, any disposal of the vehicle must be undertaken by a NAMAS/UKAS accredited contractor licenses for the removal of asbestos and in accordance with current legislation.
The successful tenderer will be asked to confirm, in writing, that they will adhere to these requirements.
