| EWS Network is the dedicated rail operator for the rail industry, intermodal and logistics markets. Owned by Deutsche Bahn, the largest freight haulier in Europe, we are looking to recruit highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Team Members to join our maintenance facility at Bescot.
The successful applicants will need to be self-motivated, fully versatile and flexible in order to ensure the business meets its goals of delivering fully maintained and reliable locomotives.
We are looking for applicants who are apprentice trained and have both electrical and mechanical experience. Electrical skills to include the ability to read schematic drawings, wiring diagrams and fault finding/diagnostics using laptop computers. Mechanical skills to include the ability to work to specification and drawings, diesel power unit repair skills and brake repairs. You will also be required to undertake wagon repairs.
These positions will operate in a busy 24/7 environment and the successful applicants will be required to work a three shift roster pattern which will include weekend working.
Assessments will form part of the selection process and the successful applicants will need to comply with EWS’s policy on drugs and alcohol. EWS offers an excellent contributory pension scheme.
