| TRACK OFF |
| Trespassing on or near railway
lines is a criminal offence which carries
a fine of up to £1,000. |
| Get a life, don't lose it
... |
| EWS is a supporter of Track
Off, a campaign to educate people, especially
young people, about the danger and consequences
of railway crime. |
| Track Off is operated and run
by The Partners Against Railway Crime, a partnership
between the main companies and organisations,
including EWS, within the rail industry in
order to reduce the levels of crime on the
UK rail network. |
| The Track Off campaign is aimed
specifically at disseminating railway crime
information and free educational material
to teachers, parents and pupils, particularly
related to the issues of trespass, throwing
objects at trains and placing objects on the
railway tracks. |
| The website for the Track Off
campaign is www.trackoff.org |
